Belief That Leftover Anger From The Montreal Screwjob Ruined Bret Hart’s WCW Run

Tony Schiavone is under the belief that the infamous moment played its part in Hart’s lacklustre run in WCW.

Bret Hart made his way to WCW after the screwjob, but did not get to do much there. His career also ended prematurely after a match against Goldberg, something he still hasn’t let go of. While speaking on the WHW podcast, Tony Schiavone stated that he believes Hart’s anger after the Montreal Screwjob ruined his WCW run.

“I’m pretty sure I am right about this … He was just really pissed off.”

Bret Hart also claimed that punching Vince McMahon was the greatest thing he ever did. Hart also regrets ever going to WCW. That being said, the past cannot be changed and Bret Hart has just accepted that.
