Kota Ibushi Looking To Have His Own Promotion, Says There’s Big Offers From AEW

Kota Ibushi is looking forward to his future.

Kota Ibushi has been on the shelf since he suffered an injured shoulder in the G1 Climax 2021 Finals against Kazuchika Okada in October 2021. He then was announced for the New Japan Cup, but was pulled from the tour. In May, Ibushi took to social media to express his frustrations with NJPW management, which led to NJPW having a press conference to address the issues and announced penalties to Ibushi and others involved in the incidents. Now, it looks like Ibushi is looking towards his future. Speaking to Dark Puroresu Flowsion, Ibushi said this;

My plan for the future is to have my own promotion and do a lot of volunteering. There are really big offers from AEW and all over the world, but I would like to make a contribution, but rather than visiting nursing homes and so on. Of course, I am also thinking of giving back to professional wrestling. I’m happy! So in 2023, I’m thinking of contributing to the world and giving back to professional wrestling. And above all, I want to liven up the world with professional wrestling.
