IMPACT Wrestling Announces Meet and Greet Information for LIVE Overdrive Event on 11/18
Moments ago, IMPACT Wrestling took to their social media Twitter account to announce the following meet and greets for the LIVE Overdrive event tomorrow, 11/18
Friday 11/18 LIVE Overdrive Pre-show Meet and Greet
-Current NJPW Strong Openweight Tag Team Champions — The Motor City Machine Guns
-IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts World Title challenger Masha Slamovich
-“The Quintessential Diva” Gisele Shaw
The Motor City Machine Guns will be competing TONIGHT In a 4 team tag match against Bullet Club reps Chris Bey & Ace Austin, former NJPW Strong Openweight Tag Team Champions Aussie Open, and Raj Singh & Mahabali Shera.
Gisele Shaw fell short in her challenge against IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace last week on the IMPACTonAXSTV episode for the title. Shaw and Grace tore the house down in the Main Event of the evening.
Masha Slamovich finally reappeared at the end of last week’s episode – after not being seen since her loss to Jordynne Grace at Slammiversary – to viciously attack Grace at the top of the ramp after her match, leave her laying atop a pile of chairs after being hit with a SNOW PLOW, and held the IMPACT Knockouts Title high in the air. This later led to Grace challenging and IMPACT management later making the match official: Jordynne Grace will defend the IMPACT Knockouts Title against Masha tomorrow night.
Friday 11/18 LIVE Overdrive Post Show Meet and Greet:
-Mickie James
-Taylor Wilde
-Current IMPACT Wrestling Digital Media Champion, Joe Hendry
Mickie James battled VXT member Chelsea Green last week as part of her “Last Rodeo”, which means if she loses she will retire. Chelsea failed to retire Mickie and took it pretty hard, even leaving after the match and “going home”.
During Mickie’s match, Deonna Purrazzo got ejected from ringside. At a point when the referee was knocked out cold, Deonna returned to attempt to help Chelsea. Taylor Wilde came down to help run Deonna off so it could continue being a “fair fight” between the two women.
Also dealing with outside interference last week was current and NEW IMPACT Wrestling Digital Media Champion Joe Hendry, when – after now former Digital Media Champion Brian Myers partner Matt Cardona interfered and then was run off by Heath and Rhyno ahead of their tag title match at Overdrive. Hendry was able to get Myers to himself. He hit Myers with the STANDING OVATION and then gained the pinfall victory to win the title.
