IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Set for First NJPW Strong Openweight Tag Team Title Defense
Yesterday, New Japan Pro Wrestling took to their social media Twitter account to announce that the Motor City Machine Guns would be defending their NJPW Strong Openweight Tag Team Titles against the Stray Dog Army team.
The Motor City Machine Guns won the New Japan titles last week in a 3 way tag match against DKC & Kevin Knight, and the former tag champs, Aussie Open at the Rumble on 44th street event about 10 days ago.
Aussie Open has been on IMPACT Wrestling numerous titles lately, and Motor City Machine Guns defeated them for a shot at their NJPW Strong Openweight Tag Team Titles.
Most recently, Aussie Open showed up in IMPACT Wrestling last week and although they fell short, they put on a phenomenal match against the team of IMPACT Wrestling World Champion Josh Alexander and AEW star Frankie Kazarian.
