Aljamain Sterling Not Worried About Jose Aldo

The Bantamweight Champion Aljamain Sterling is focused on one man, and it isn’t Jose Aldo.

Aljamain is seemingly set for a fight against TJ Dillashaw in September. He even called him out from the crowd on UFC’s Fight Night Event this past Saturday. Recently on social media, a fan tweeted at Sterling saying he needs to focus on TJ and Aldo, but it seems Sterling isn’t concerned with Jose. Sterlings teammate Merab Dvalishvili will take on Aldo in August, where Aljamain thinks he will take him out of title contention.

Aldo and Dvalishvili will go head-to-head at UFC 278 on pay-per-view on August 20th. Dvalishvili is currently on a seven fight win streak and is number six in the rankings. But, a win from Jose Aldo could put him right back in title contention. Plus, with rumors of former champion Henry Cejudo coming back, the Bantamweight division is heating up in the UFC.
