When Moxley debuted in AEW in 2019, it sent shockwaves through the wrestling industry. Moxley was one of the biggest stars in pro wrestling overnight and he has kept that spot since the night he joined the company. Moxley however has not been a bitter shooter since leaving the WWE, but now has something to say regarding Vince’s attitude to wrestling matches.
While speaking on The Sessions with Renee Paquette, Jon Moxley claimed that Vince McMahon would flip his lid if he saw Moxley’s current matches in AEW.
“Turns out all that stuff in WWE, they tell you a lot of stuff, you got to do this and this is the way it needs to be done, and there’s all this stuff that’s just totally wrong and is demonstrably wrong now with AEW on a national level,” Jon Moxley said. “‘Oh, you’re doing too much or whatever. You’re not selling…grab a hold!’ You know all this f**king s**t. Like there’s so many matches I have now that I know I literally couldn’t do in WWE, Vince would just flip his lid.”
