Cody Rhodes Insisted On Wrestling In Hell In A Cell Main Event Despite Injury

Cody Rhodes is a tough sob.

Last night at WWE Hell In A Cell we witnessed a main event that left many fans feeling uncomfortable with the match. Cody Rhodes decided that despite a completely torn off the bone Pectoral tendon that he would still complete his Hell In A Cell match with Seth Rollins and managed to guts out a great match. However, fans were still left baffled at the idea of Cody being cleared.

Sean Ross Sapp discussed the shocking main event on Fightful Select. It was noted that many backstage questioned whether Cody Rhodes should have been allowed to compete. Cody insisted on going out for the match.

“The noticeable injury added to the story between he and Seth Rollins, with many questioning whether or not he should have been able to wrestle. After insisting, Cody was able to compete in the Hell in a Cell main event, and after, told the Allstate Arena audience that he was going to address the injury on Monday. He is currently scheduled for WWE Raw.”
