Exclusive: Deonna Purrazzo Would Love To Win The Knockouts Tag Team Titles With Chelsea Green

Deonna Purrazzo has had an incredible two year run since her departure from WWE, having captured the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship, the ROH Women’s World Championship, and the IMPACT Knockouts Championship. But what is next for The Virtuousa?

Purrazzo recently appeared on the May 4th, 2022 episode of AEW Dynamite where she competed in the Main Event against Mercedes Martinez to unify the ROH Women’s World Championship and Interim ROH Women’s World Championship. Unfortunately, Deonna came up short and lost the last of her multiple World Titles, but apparently she has her eyes on another Championship.

Purrazzo sat down earlier this week for an exclusive interview with Bodyslam.net‘s Carisa Lopez and talked about IMPACT Wrestling, the Knockouts Title, the return of Mia Yim, and hinted at a possible Knockouts Tag Title run with Chelsea Green.

“Yeah, I don’t I don’t know what’s next… Obviously, you know, Mia Yim is on my radar...

I think that I will always want to be a champion in some way, shape, or form. So I don’t know if that’s eventually staking my claim at the Knockouts World Championship again, and the Knockouts World Champion Tasha Steelz, that is a dream match for me for so many reasons. You know, we also have Knockouts Tag Team Championships. So I think that I could find myself a partner, Chelsea Green, and she wants to win some tag gold with me, I’d love that.”
