A major match has been set for this year’s Slammiversary event.

During tonight’s (5/12) episode of IMPACT on AXS TV, Gail Kim revealed that the first-ever Queen of The Mountain match will go down at the Slammiversary pay-per-view, on June 19. IMPACT Wrestling held annual King of The Mountain matches until 2016 and this year’s Slammiversay will mark the first-time that the Knockouts division will take part in the match.

Kim announced that IMPACT Knockouts World Champion Tasha Steelz will compete in the match alongside five other former Knockouts World Champions including Deonna Purrazzo, Jordynne Grace, Chelsea Green and the returning Mia Yim. Steelz and Savannah Evans surrounded Kim following the announcement but was rushed off by the aforementioned Yim until Purrazzo came down to join the attack but Taya Valkyrie and Jordynne Grace evened the odds and stood tall alongside Gail and Mia to end the segment.
