Stone Cold Accepts Kevin Owens WrestleMania 38 Invitation

Will Stone Cold be a part Of WrestleMania 38? Can I get a “Hell Yea!”

Over the last month, rumors have been running rampant that former WWE Superstar and WWE Hall Of Famer, Stone Cold Steve Austin would be making a return to the ring against Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 38.

Previously, Sean Ross Sapp Of Fightful Select had reported that WWE made an overture to try and get the Texas Rattlesnake back in the ring. Over the past few weeks, Kevin Owens has been taking shots at the state of Texas, and on last night’s episode of Raw he called out Stone Cold for WrestleMania.

This Morning WWE posted a video of Stone Cold accepting the invite.

“19 years ago I wrestled my last match in a WWE ring. After three Rock Bottoms, 1, 2, 3, I lost the match. For 19 years, I had to live with that defeat, knowing my time was up. Kevin Owens, I want to thank you. I want to thank you for waking something up deep inside me that I kept buried for 19 years. Ever since you starting running that damn mealy-mouth of yours, talking about the state of Texas, the great state of Texas, you got my attention. Why would you want to do that Kevin? I can think of two reasons. One, you are one dumb son of a bitch. Two, you are fixing to get your ass kicked by Stone Cold Steve Austin. Whether you want to call this the KO Show, a match, a fight, a brawl, whatever. I want to guarantee you this, in Dallas, Texas, where I started my career, at WrestleMania, Stone Cold Steve Austin is going to open one last can of whoop ass on you, Kevin Owens. That’s the bottom line, because Stone Cold said so,” said Austin.

Stone Cold has not appeared on WWE television since 3:16 day in 2020.
