They were one of the greatest tag teams of all time, but it seems like their time as a team has come to an end.
D-Von and Bubba Ray Dudley tore up ECW, WWE, TNA, and the independent since for years, but they’ve gone their separate ways since 2016. D-Von is currently a producer for the WWE and Bubba Ray has found himself a host on Busted Open Radio in addition to having some work with Ring of Honor before the pandemic hit. However, according to D-Von Dudley, the two are done as a team. Speaking with JOFO In the Ring, D-Von seemed pretty set that the team is put to rest.
“The Dudleyz are done. It’s over. It was a good run, but I think we should move on and leave the Dudleyz alone. Rest in peace, Dudley Boyz.”
The Dudleyz have won almost every major Tag Team Title in the world, as they are former ECW, IWGP, TNA, NWA, WWE, and WCW Tag Team Champions thanks to the WWE/WCW merger. There are few teams with the resume they have, and they are WWE Hall of Famers. It seems like that’s how we’ll remember them, as one of the best.
