AEW Considering Opening Streaming Service

All Elite Wrestling is taping lots of content when they bring talent in. Whether it’s Dynamite or even the episodes of Dark and Dark: Elevation, they’re building a vast library which also includes their “Road to…” shorts and much more. There may just be a reason for this work to expand the library.

The Wrestling Observer Newsleter reports that AEW is potentially looking at starting their own streaming service at some point. They can use all their content, including Dark and Dark: Elevation.

The number of hours over the course of years will enable them to either set up their own streaming service, or better yet, be like WWE and get a major streaming company looking at spending heavy for content and them having enough hours, to lease it out for enough money that it will become a major stable revenue stream.

Plenty of fans would love to find ways to streamline their AEW viewing. With it scattered to YouTube, TNT, and B/R Live when it comes to pay per view efforts. If the service was similar to WWE Network, fans would happily pick that up to have a one stop destination for all things All Elite Wrestling.
