Tony Khan Claps Back At Konnan After Criticism Over His Booking

Tony Khan has admittedly been open to criticism and feedback on his skills as a booker, but he recently fired back at someone for their remarks about his ability.

Khan was recently a guest on the Wrestle Fetish podcast and discussed the criticism about his booking and his lack of experience that was called out by Konnan on the Keepin’ It 100 podcast. While Khan said it was “amusing” Konnan criticized his booking, Khan did remark that he had a hand back in 2019 with the feud between the Young Bucks and The Lucha Bros in 2019 that AAA had taken advantage of on one of their pay per views, revealing some information that had Khan clapping back and saying that if he didn’t know what he was doing, Konnan didn’t either.

“If I recall, the biggest money angle you had that entire year, I booked. I put that entire Lucha Brothers / Young Bucks program together, and sent the whole outline to you, which I still have on my phone. That was your biggest TV show in 2019. So, if I don’t know what I’m doing, you don’t either.”

Khan has certainly made mistakes in his booking, and he’s admitted he has regretted some of his choices. However, Jim Ross has even admitted that Khan has improved over time.
