Aleister Black has been in limbo for quite some time. Last we heard, he had stopped being brought up in creative meetings, especially after his wife Zelina Vega was released from the company. Sadly, that hasn’t changed in the few weeks since we last reported on him.
Ringside News has reported nothing has changed on that front, unfortunately, and there is no plan for him. While the site has reported his wife’s release is not part of the reason for this, it didn’t help because he wasn’t really part of any creative discussion prior to her release.
Black had a prominent role on Raw during Paul Heyman’s tenure as the Executive Director of Raw, only for his role on the show to diminish once Bruce Prichard took over the position. While it’s said Vince McMahon doesn’t understand Black’s character or gimmick, it seems that might be the case as Black has now just fallen off the creative radar for the company.
