Tonight begins the first round of the NXT Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, and the first iteration of the women’s version has just had their brackets released.
The 8-team tournament features several debuts and the following teams.
- Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell
- Gigi Dolin & Cora Jade
- Shotzi Blackheart & Ember Moon
- Marina Shafir & Zoey Stark
- Mercedes Martinez & Toni Storm
- Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter
- Aliyah & Jessi Kamea
- Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez
If you don’t recognize Stark, Dolin, and Jade, you’d be forgiven as they were literally just announced as being signed and now are making their debuts in NXT shortly thanks to the Dusty Cup. The first round starts tonight with Storm & Martinez vs. Catanzaro & Carter confirmed. You can see the brackets below.
