The champion vs. champion matches seem set for Survivor Series this year, and one of them doesn’t look to be a long match.
Despite the WWE surely wanting their champions to look strong, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the champion vs. champion match of US Champ Bobby Lashley and IC Champ Sami Zayn isn’t expected to be booked as a competitive match and instead more of a squash by Lashley.
“Even though Sami Zayn is much better than Bobby Lashley, they’re gonna work it as a squash.”
Lashley and Zayn may be champions on their respective brands, but they won’t be treated as equals at this pay per view. It doesn’t seem like Survivor Series is going to be a good night to be a Sami Zayn fan.
