WWE has released a statement announcing the release of Thea Trinidad, and the timing has been absolutely suspect.
At 5:46 PM eastern time, Vega tweeted out she supported unionization. She’s not the only WWE superstar to support this idea, as Paige has been openly outspoken about speaking with a lawyer over the idea of unionization. Vega has also been unafraid to buck the WWE’s third party ban edict. Despite losing her Twitch channel thanks to it, Vega shortly opened up an OnlyFans account afterward. While there have been no other releases announced yet, Vega’s released was announced by the company only 10 minutes after her tweet.
There’s rumors Vega may have been one of the talents to have spoken to Andrew Yang about WWE’s policies toward talent and now that Joe Biden has won the election, many people believe Yang will be “a headache” for Vince McMahon and the WWE should he find a place in the Biden administration.
