FTR dropped the AEW Tag Team Titles last night at Full Gear to the Young Bucks last night, and now it seems they’re heading in a different direction.
Today on Instagram, both Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood have posted cryptic posts indicating they may have wrapped up something with AEW. Wheeler dropped the caption, “Leave it better than you found it. #FTR” and Harwood posted “Life ain’t always beautiful, but it’s a beautiful ride. #FTR”
Harwood and Wheeler signed AEW contracts as part of an angle to gain their AEW Tag Team Title shot and Tony Khan did tweet out that they signed multiyear deals after doing so on air on an episode of AEW Dynamite, so the posts are cryptic, but they have expressed desire to work in Japan and other places.
Obviously, this is all speculation. Harwood and Wheeler have been very good at generating internet buzz in the past, so this could all just be part of them creating buzz. Whatever it is, FTR has certainly started to draw attention with these posts.
