NJPW To Announce Participants For 2020 Best Of Super Jr Tournament

Earlier this year, due to the global health pandemic, NJPW chose to postpone their annual best of Super Jr Tournament. Earlier this month NJPW announced that they would simultaneously be running both the Best Of Super Jr Tournament alongside their annual World Tag League.

The two tournaments are scheduled to kick off Sunday the 15th of November from the Dolphins Arena, Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium with participants from both tournaments expected to compete. Since the announcement speculation has run rampant with regards to the particpants of the tournament and it finally looks like fans wont have to wait much longer.

NJPW announced earlier today via their news page that they will be announcing the participants for the Best Of Super Jr Tournament on November 2nd during the second night of Road to Power Struggle from Tokyo’s Korakuen Hall. The Road to Power Struggle is scheduled for 2 events at Korakuen Hall on the 1st and 2nd of November and both nights have Tag Team Championship main events.

On the 1st of November the IWGP Super Jr Tag Titles will be on the line when champions Yoshinobu Kanemaru and El Desperado are set to defend their titles against LIJ’s Hiromu Takahashi and BUSHI.

On the 2nd of November the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Titles will be on the line when YOSHI-HASHI and Hirooki Goto are set to challenge Dangerous Tekkers Zack Sabre Junior and Taichi.
