Vince McMahon Reportedly Was “Not In A Happy Mood” During Monday’s RAW TV Tapings

The XFL officially filed for bankruptcy yesterday, citing “tens of millions” in losses due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to the relaunch of the league earlier this year Vince McMahon was asked if the XFL would be connected to WWE in any way, to which he adamantly stated that the two were separate entities.

However, as it turns out WWE actually owned 23.5% of Class B stock in the XFL.

It was said that Vince McMahon was in a terrible mood last night at the WWE RAW TV taping, which was probably attributed to the news that the XFL had officially folded and filed for chapter 11.

According to a report from PWInsider‘s Mike Johnson, via their Elite Audio Updates, Vince McMahon was said to be in a very bad mood during last night’s WWE Monday Night RAW tapings. Although Johnson didn’t state the reason for McMahon’s bad mood, one could assume that it had a lot to do with the huge losses the XFL took.

“I did hear from two different people who were at the tapings tonight and they said it was very obvious ‘the Old Man was not in a happy mood.’ He was very grumpy. I can’t imagine why.”
