Luke Harper and Sammy Guevara Receive Corpus Christi IceRays Jerseys – Fueling Harper To AEW Speculation

It’s not a secret that Luke Harper was trying to leave WWE for quite some time. Going as far as requesting his release from the company and posting it on Twitter. WWE not only denied his request but also tacked on extra time to Harper’s contract due to a clause in the contract saying his time with the company could be frozen while he was injured.

Harpers contract was set to expire in the end of March, but before that could happen WWE finally granted his release, with a 90 day no compete clause. When those 90 days are up, it will be late March, around the same time his contract would have been up anyways.

Harper was formerly known as Brodie Lee before signing to WWE. Many fans speculate that Harper will join the independent scene, while others are hoping for Harper to join AEW. The AEW rumors are definitely heating up after Harper appeared on AEW talent Sammy Guevara’s Instagram.

Time will tell on where Harper lands after his no compete clause is up. But if this post is any indication, Brodie Lee will be all elite.
