Tony Schiavone Officially Signs With All Elite Wrestling

Tony Schiavone will be returning to TNT.

According to a report from PWInsider, Tony Schiavone has signed a deal with All Elite Wrestling and will be returning to TNT as part of AEW’s weekly television series. Currently Schiavone’s role on the program is not known, however this will mark his first appearance on the network since WCW Monday Nitro’s final broadcast back in March of 2001.

It was also reported that WWE had been interested in signing Schiavone, and that the two were actually in talks as late as this past Wednesday. However, Schiavone instead signed a deal on Thursday that will see him continue to be a part of All Elite Wrestling, as he has already appeared in episodes of AEW’s “Road To” videos hyping their upcoming events.

Schiavone is also still currently signed to MLW, and will remain working with Major League Wrestling as well.

We will keep you updated if we hear anything else about Tony Schiavone’s new role with AEW, or any other AEW related news.
