Greatest Royal Rumble Set Up Begins – Update On Seating & Odd Ticket Rules

With The Greatest Royal Rumble event taking place just in 10 days from the King Abdullah Sport City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, set up for the event has already begun.

We have received a photo showing the set up for The Greatest Royal Rumble already underway at the King Abdullah Sport City, courtesy of our friend @camjxm.

Videos have also began to make their way onto youtube showing more of the construction of the set for the Greatest Royal Rumble below:

Tickets for the Greatest Royal Rumble event on April 27th were supposed to go on sale a month ago, however ticket sales were delayed and did not actually go on sale to the public until April 13th. Ticket prices for the event range from $2.50 US Dollars and $5 US Dollars for regular seats, to $80 US Dollars for floor level VIP seating.

However, NO floor tickets are available to regular fans. Those seats have all been reserved for the Sports Authority, Ministers & their entourages, and their friends and other people of stature.

It had originally been reported that WWE was planning on the event seating around 62,000 people. But as per a new report via Wrestling Observer Live today, WWE held a meeting and has made a decision to block off half of the arena. Which now means, that instead of the event having a capacity of nearly 62,000 it will instead only seat around 31,000 people.

In addition, you will only be able to purchase tickets for the event if you are single, meaning bachelor men, OR if you are a family (family meaning it has to include a woman and children).

The tickets allotted for singles have all sold out, and the remaining tickets are now trying to be sold to families. Apparently, Saudi Fans are said to be livid because of this procedure.
