Early Betting Odds For UFC 226: Miocic vs. Cormier

The UFC will present UFC 226 on July 7th, 2018 from Las Vegas, Nevada.

The card for UFC 226 will be headlined by a UFC Heavyweight Title fight between Champion Stipe Miocic and UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier. This will be the third time in UFC history that champions in different divisions will fight for the same title, the first time being at UFC 94 and then once again at UFC 205.

After UFC on FOX 29 weigh-ins, Daniel Cormier sat down and discussed coaching on the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter: Undefeated, what he thought when he heard that he could be in line for a future fight with Brock Lesnar, his fight with Stipe Miocic at UFC 226, and more.

Both fighters have been doing their media rounds leading up to July 7th’s fight at UFC 226. Stipe Miocic was recently did his tour of duty at ESPN’s studios and one of his appearances was on Get Up! with Michelle Beadle where he talked about the incident at UFC 223 involving Conor McGregor as well as his upcoming fight with Daniel Cormier. Not only will Miocic and Cormier headline UFC 226, they will both be the coaches on the next season of The Ultimate Fighter: Undefeated. This season of TUF will feature undefeated featherweights and lightweights.

Miocic’s team of coaches will consist of Chris Camozzi, Dustin Jacoby, James Krause, and Marcus Marinelli; while Cormier will be assisted by coaches Javier Mendez, Cain Velasquez, Bob Cook, Leandro Vieira, and Deron Winn.
