BURBANK, CA (April 28, 2026) – The CW Network and WWE, part of TKO Group Holdings (NYSE: TKO), today announced all NXT Premium Live Events (PLEs) will now air exclusively on The CW. Beginning with The Great American Bash later this summer, The CW will broadcast 20 PLEs in their entirety live on both coasts over the next several years, including Stand and DeliverDeadline, and Vengeance Day. With the addition of NXT PLEs to The CW’s lineup, the network is now the exclusive home for all NXT programming – which showcases WWE’s hottest up-and-coming Superstars – also airing weekly live NXT installments every Tuesday night. WWE will continue to produce all PLEs.

“WWE NXT has energized our Tuesday nights by consistently delivering a loyal and passionate fanbase to The CW every week,” said Brad Schwartz, President, The CW Network. “Adding WWE NXT Premium Live Events to our schedule is a natural fit, providing one broadcast destination for audiences to watch all their favorite Superstars, storylines and championship matches.”

The CW entered a five-year deal with WWE in October 2024 to bring NXT to broadcast television for the first time in the show’s history. Its broadcast television debut delivered the largest audience for the program since October 2023 and was The CW’s #1 telecast of the year among adults 25-54 and 18-49. As the exclusive home of NXT, The CW airs 52 live weekly events throughout the season every Tuesday night from 8:00-10:00pm ET/PT. NXT programming features a stacked roster of up-and-coming talent including NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo and NXT Women’s Champion Lola Vice.

“The CW has played an integral role in raising the profile of our up-and-coming Superstars, and we are excited to bring NXT Premium Live Events to broadcast television for the first time ever,” said Shawn Michaels, WWE Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative.

Launched by WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque, NXT has aired weekly since 2012 and features the brightest young talent in sports entertainment. Several WrestleMania® 42 participants were developed under the NXT banner, including Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch. Led by Michaels, NXT on The CW has showcased the rise of several ascending WWE Superstars, including Oba Femi, Trick Williams, Tiffany Stratton, Roxanne Perez, Je’Von Evans, and Sol Ruca.

Danny DeManto Reveals Serious Medical Setback, Announces Hiatus from In-Ring Action

Deathmatch Star Danny DeManto Provides Health Update On Previously Diagnosed Blood Clot

Independent wrestling veteran and deathmatch star Danny DeManto has shared a concerning health update, and revealed that he has to step away from in-ring competition for the foreseeable future.

DeManto took to his official Facebook account to inform fans that the situation involving a previously diagnosed blood clot has worsened. DeManto stated that the blood clot at some point has moved past the knee, and is now in both his thigh and calf, leading to a far more serious medical situation than was initially expected. DeManto wrote the following post on social media.

“I was unfortunately given bad news today. The blood clot had moved past the knee at some point and is in both the thigh and calf.

I’m going to be on blood thinners for up to 6 months to a year and cannot do anything “too strenuous” to my body.

    That means no wrestling.

    Health comes first.

    Wrestling will always be here.

    appreciate you all.”

Being placed on blood thinners and advised to avoid strenuous activity effectively sidelines DeManto indefinitely, with a potential recovery window stretching anywhere from six months to a full year because of the blood clot.

While the news is undoubtedly disappointing for both the performer and his supporters, the emphasis on long-term health is paramount.

The update reveals a significant and serious setback for DeManto, who has built a reputation across the independent circuit as one of the more fearless and durable competitors on the deathmatch scene.

At this time, there is no confirmed timetable for his return beyond the projected recovery period. Updates will likely depend on how his condition responds to treatment in the coming months.

You can see Danny DeManto’s Facebook post revealing his ongoing heath issues below.

On behalf of everyone at BodySlam.net, we wish Danny DeManto a safe and full recovery.

  • Son of Sid Vicious Slams WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony: “They Did Him Dirty”

Son of Sid Vicious Slams WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony: “They Did Him Dirty”

Gunnar Eudy Speaks Out Following His Father Sid Vicious’ WWE Hall of Fame Induction

The legacy of Sid Eudy, known to wrestling fans worldwide as Sid Vicious and Sycho Sid, was officially cemented during the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony in Las Vegas. However, not even 24 hours removed from the induction, his son Gunnar Eudy has issued a statement heavily criticizing WWE.

In a Facebook post shared earlier today, Gunnar expressed gratitude to fans while simultaneously taking shots at WWE’s handling of his father’s induction.

“Thank you to everyone for all the love and support you’ve shown our family. It means the world, and I appreciate every single person who had my dad’s back. Last night’s so-called ‘Hall of Fame induction’ for my father, Sid Eudy ‘Sycho Sid’ ‘Sid Vicious’ was straight up disappointing and disrespectful as hell. I’m glad my dad was big enough to put himself over even in death, because WWE damn sure wouldn’t.”

Gunnar’s frustrations extended beyond the ceremony itself, citing what he perceived as a lack of visibility and recognition for his father throughout the host city and official WWE offerings.

“I didn’t see one single ad for him here in Vegas. The Hall of Fame gift shop had zero merch for my dad not a damn thing, But they were loaded with all the Dennis Rodman crap you could want. It felt like they just swept him under the rug like a footnote, rushing to get him out of the way.”

The post continued with sharper criticism directed toward what Gunnar described as long-standing tensions within the wrestling industry.

“Maybe if we had waited another 20 years until all those jealous, insecure ex-colleagues were gone you know the ones who could never match his athletic ability, his looks, or his unbreakable will power to tell them ‘no’ he would’ve finally gotten the full induction he actually deserved.”

Despite the harsh critique, Gunnar also shared a more personal and positive takeaway from the experience, centered around attending the event with his son.

“Still, I’m trying to stay positive for my son’s sake: I got to bring him, and he doesn’t know they did his grandpa dirty. He just got to see his hero honored. That moment with my boy made it worth it. And at least we walked away with the real Hall of Fame ring I’m adding pictures of it here because that’s something solid we can actually hold onto while the rest of this felt like a slap in the face.”

He closed his message with a tribute to his father’s legacy, while reiterating his belief that the company fell short in properly honoring him.

“Rest in power, Dad. The Master and Ruler of the World got his flowers… even if WWE tried to shortchange you one last time. They were always jealous. 💪🖤 Congratulations to Bad news Brown and Sid Vicious and Demolition. #SidVicious #SychoSid #WWEHOF #FamilyFirst #BadNewsBrown”

Sid Vicious remains one of the most physically imposing and polarizing figures of his era, known for his commanding presence and multiple World Championship reigns across WWE and WCW. His induction into the WWE Hall of Fame was long considered overdue by many within the industry.
