Orange Cassidy may be preparing to retire one of the most recognizable pieces of his laid-back wrestling presentation.
Speaking with Simon Miller on *Under the Mat*, Cassidy revealed that he has worn the same denim jacket since 2017. The jacket predates AEW and has accompanied him through many of the largest matches and events of his career.
“This could go to a museum,” Cassidy said.
Cassidy also addressed the obvious question created by wearing the same jacket for nearly a decade, assuring viewers that he washes his gear regularly.
After putting the jacket on for the interview, however, Cassidy began wondering whether it had reached the end of its run.
“Might be time to hang her up,” he said.
This would not mean Cassidy is abandoning his signature denim style. When Miller asked whether he owned another jacket, Cassidy revealed that he has an entire closet filled with denim and remains partial to the familiar look.
Cassidy has not confirmed that the original jacket is officially retired or announced when a replacement might debut. For now, he is considering preserving the well-traveled piece of gear while keeping the overall presentation that has defined his character.
