Nic Nemeth, Alex Shelley, Ash By Elegance All In Action – TNA Wrestling Preview – April 4, 2024

TNA loads up on a huge episode of Impact for April 4th.
Next week:

Last week during the TNA broadcast, we saw a video clip teasing the return of the FBI to TNA Wrestling.

Old School Rules
-Mustafa Ali vs Rhino

Mustafa Ali is backstage talking with Santino Marella about being on the cover of Pro Wrestling Illustrated while also being the current X Division Champion. Ali complains about how Jake Something is too big for the division, to which Santino says that the X Division has no size or weight limits. Marella brings up examples like former champions like Samoa Joe and Rhino.

Mustafa Ali says that Rhino has a stupid name and if he was there right now — Ali is cut off when Rhino walks up behind him. Rhino says he wasn’t a match with Ali, but Ali tried to get out of it by saying that he has to defend the title in a few weeks against Jake Something. Rhino says Ali doesn’t need to put the title on the line, but he wants it to be an Old School Rules match.

Santino makes the match official before walking away.

Chris Bey vs Frankie Kazarian

Chris Bey and Ace Austin are backstage talking about their recent singles matches as well as focusing on getting the tag team titles back. Ace says he went after Kazarian because he was standing up for ABC, so Bey says that he’s going to stand up for ABC as well and sets off to find Kazarian.

Frankie Kazarian is elsewhere backstage cutting a promo on Eric Young ahead of their match at Rebellion. Bey interrupts and says he’s not going to let it slide that Kazarian put his hands on him recently. Bey says Kazarian is looking too far ahead and he wants a match next week. Kazarian agrees.

-Nic Nemeth vs Alex Shelley

Nic Nemeth is backstage with Gia Miller talking about Moose and how he’s trying to get in Nemeth’s head before of their match at Rebellion. Alex Shelley walks up and says he believes in Nemeth and knows he can beat Moose and The System. Nemeth thanks Shelley and says he’s like a Legend around here, and he’d love to give Shelley a shot at the title after he beats Moose at Rebellion. Shelley says they don’t need to wait.

The two shake hands to make the match official.

-Ash By Elegance vs Xia Brookside

During last weeks TNA iMPACT broadcast, Ash By Elegance was supposed to be in the 8-4-1 match, however, she emerged from the back with a bandage around her face after allegedly having some cosmetic work done on her face. Ash would be replaced by a returning Steph De Lander in the match. Ash took a seat at ringside, though.

During the match, Xia Brookside was on the outside of the ring and knocked off the apron into Ash. Xia inadvertently nailed Ash in the face when she fell into her.

Later that night, the match was made official.

TNA Digital Media Title
-Crazzy Steve (c) vs Laredo Kid

During a sit down interview with Tom Hannifan, Laredo Kid gets more in depth about his life and career thus far, both in the ring and outside of it. He then takes the opportunity to challenge Crazzy Steve to a match for the TNA Digital Media Title. Steve and Laredo Kid were supposed to battle for it at the Sacrifice Countdown show, however, Laredo Kid was replaced by Joe Hendry after some travel issues kept him away from the show.
