TNA Announces New Matches For Philadelphia TV Tapings, Including First-Time-Ever Match Between Josh Alexander & Tracy Williams
Moments ago, TNA Wrestling announced via their social media Twitter account that the match will be taking place next weekend.
Williams is a former Ring of Honor Television and Tag Team Champion. Tracy most recently wrestled for Ring of Honor back in December of 2023 as part of a Television Title tournament. Williams lost the match to AEW/ROH talent Lee Moriarity.
We’ll also see TNA Knockout star Xia Brookside take on one of the newest Knockout sensations -Ash By Elegance.
Ash sat ringside for the Knockouts World Title match between Jordynne Grace, Tasha Steelz, and Xia Brookside at Sacrifice. Ash had a glass of champagne she was sipping on while she watched.
Xia Brookside was battling Tasha Steelz on the outside, and threw Steelz into Xia, causing her to spill the drink all over herself.
Ash blamed Xia for the incident.
In what will surely be a classic tag team bout, the Motor City Machine Guns will be taking on the current TNA Tag Team Champions, The System, Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards (w/Alisha).
Alex Shelley recently lost his TNA World Title rematch, as did Chris Sabin for the X Division Title. Alex Shelley and Kushida are set to battle the Grizzled Young Veterans this coming week on the TNA iMPACT broadcast.
Last and hopefully the last time as well – we will see PCO taking on Kon in a Monsters Ball Match.
This will be the third match between the two competitors, as PCO won the first match by a Disqualification at No Surrender, and then defeated Kon again at Sacrifice in a No DQ match.
These matches AND MORE will take place this Friday & Saturday – March 22nd & 23rd – from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia; they will all air over the next month or so leading up to the Rebellion PPV on April 20th.
