Years After Getting Kicked Out of Locker Room, Now The Miz is Locked Inside of One

In something of a ‘This Could Only Happen to The Miz’ situation, the former WWE Champion has revealed on his social media that he is currently stuck inside of a locker room at the SAP Center in San Jose, California.

Miz went on Instagram Live to tell the tale of this mishap, which you’d think would me a more appropriate gag for his tag team partner, R-Truth. Truth, himself, may or may not still be in San Francisco, California.

“I’m stuck in an 8’x6′ room in the arena, where Monday Night Raw is happening tonight,” the former Intercontinental Champion lamented. “They can’t get us out. It’s like being stuck in an elevator, only it’s a real room. That door does not budge. It’s a metal door. And that lock doesn’t work; I’ve tried it. I’ve tried pulling the door off the hinges; doesn’t work, I’m not strong enough. Thought I might be. Am not.”

The Miz stated that people have tried kicking the door down, which also did not work.

“I might not make Monday Night Raw,” Miz said, “because I’m stuck in an 8’x6′ room at the Sap Center. Luckily I’m not claustrophobic.”

This is a far cry from days gone by when The Miz was actually kicked out of a locker room by He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named (the first one; now’s there like five) for eating chicken. That story served as the basis for much of The Miz’s career. It fueled his anger and his desire to achieve.

Will this story have the same affect? We’ll find out in the coming weeks.

“Wish me luck,” The Miz said.
