MJF Wraps Filming On ‘The Floaters’

MJF continues to build up his resume, even out of the ring.

This isn’t anything new for the former AEW World Champion, who has now taken part in multiple film productions in recent months, such as ‘Justice League x RWBY: Super Heroes & Huntsmen, Part II’ and perhaps most notably, ‘The Iron Claw.’ Whether it’s voice acting or in-person acting, he’s excelled in just about everything he’s tried his hand at, and this should be no exception.

According to Deadline, the filming on his newest project has officially wrapped up. He stars in the Jewish summer camp comedy “The Floaters”.

The movie follows struggling musician Nomi (Tohn) who accepts a last-resort job from her overachiever best friend Mara (Podemski): mentoring misfit campers, the “Floaters,” at their childhood Jewish summer camp. As the camp struggles to survive amidst competition with a longtime rival, Nomi, the Floaters, and Mara must overcome their differences to bring the community together and save the camp.

Since losing the AEW World Championship at Worlds End to Samoa Joe, MJF hasn’t been on AEW television in a little over a month. Along with that, he’s currently dealing with an injury, that might keep him off of any AEW programming for the foreseeable future. At this point in time, it is unclear when he will return to TV.

BodySlam will provide any updates on MJF’s return as they become available.
