AJPW Triple Crown Champion Katsuhiko Nakajima And WWE NXT Star Charlie Dempsey Set For Battle On January 3rd

On January 3rd, the All Japan Pro-Wrestling Triple Crown Champion Katsuhiko Nakajima is set to defend his title against WWE NXT star Charlie Dempsey at Korakuen Hall.

As per a working agreement that seems to have begun between AJPW and WWE, Charlie Dempsey was sent to AJPW for a few shows which included a shot at the AJPW Triple Crown Title.

Katsuhiko Nakajima retained the AJPW Triple Crown Title when he defeated Kento Miyahara on the December 31st #ajpwMANIAx 2023 event. Dempsey made his debut for AJPW at that show. With Nakajima’s victory, he will now defend the title against Dempsey on January 3rd at the AJPW New Year Giant Series 2024 event.

Charlie Dempsey had stated in a prior interview that he intends to win the AJPW Triple Crown Title and bring it back to NXT. That will be a tough task for Charlie Dempsey with Katsuhiko Nakajima standing in his way with no intention of losing the Triple Crown Title.
