Andrade may end up in a bidding war for his services.
Andrade had been out of action with a torn pectoral injury up until this past June. He’s been dominating the AEW Continental Classic tournament, but fell short to make the finals after not garnering enough points.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter provided some insight on the situation:
“Those in WWE expect Andrade el Idolo to return.
Those close to him say that he may very well go back but is also open to stay in AEW if Tony Khan makes a better offer than WWE.
He would also like to work NJPW and would have wanted to do FantasticaMania in February but it conflicts with his schedule.”

Back in September, Andrade opened up about the recovery process for his injury.
Andrade is currently married to WWE superstar Charlotte Flair. Flair recently had her own injury woes with a bad knee injury, which will reportedly keep her sidelined about nine months between surgery and recovery.
It was also revealed recently that Charlotte had signed a new, multi year contract with WWE.
Andrade recently returned to CMLL to work some matches.
