BJW World Strong Heavyweight Champion Yuya Aoki To Defend Against Leyton Buzzard on January 2

The Big Japan Pro-Wrestling World Strong Heavyweight Champion Yuya Aoki will put his title on the line against Leyton Buzzard on January 2nd. This match will headline BJW’s 2024 New Year Battle Begins event which will take place at Korakuen Hall.

Yuya Aoki and Leyton Buzzard have competed against each other in numerous tag team matches over the past few weeks which have led up to this upcoming one on one encounter.

Yuya Aoki will be making his 6th defense of the BJW World Strong Heavyweight Championship. Yuya Aoki defeated Yuji Okabayashi back on May 4th to win the BJW World Strong Heavyweight Championship.

This will be Leyton Buzzard’s first opportunity at the BJW World Strong Heavyweight Championship.
