Cody Rhodes And QT Marshall’s Nightmare Factory Trademarks Name Of Dusty Rhodes’ Old Promotion – Turnbuckle Championship Wrestling
Turnbuckle Championship Wrestling has risen from the dead.. kinda.
On November 30th, 2023 Nightmare Factory LLC filed to trademark Turnbuckle Championship Wrestling (TCW) with the USPTO. The trademark covers both merchandise, as well as “wrestling contests,” “wrestling exhibits,” and “performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer.”
“The applicant, Nightmare Factory, LLC, a limited liability company legally organized under the laws of Georgia requests registration of the trademark/service mark identified above in the United States Patent and Trademark Office on the Principal Register established by the Act of July 5, 1946 (15 U.S.C. Section 1051 et seq.), as amended, for the following:

Turnbuckle Championship Wrestling was founded in 2000 by WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes, and operated for three years closing it’s doors in the summer of 2003, shortly after it had been announced that Dusty had signed a contract with TNA Wrestling. However, Rhodes’ claimed the close of TCW was partially due to declining business as well as increased competition from WWE.
During it’s run, TCW very popular in Atlanta, Georgia and Dothan, Alabama where the company regularly held events. The company also ran throughout the South, holding events in Virginia, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, Alabama and North Carolina.
