The upcoming 2024 Free Agent class might be the biggest in recent pro wrestling history.
Already confirmed to have their current deals expire in 2024, are Drew McIntyre, Becky Lynch, Deonna Purrazzo, Alex Hammerstone, QT Marshall, and Dustin Rhodes just to name a few, potentially making them free agents next year. Now it looks like another major name is set to have their contract expire next year, making an already loaded free agency class even bigger.
According to a report from Sean Ross Sapp via Fightful Select, current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins’ contract will expire in June of 2024. Additionally, as of a couple weeks ago, there have been no discussions between Rollins and WWE regarding an extension of his contract.
The report also stated that WWE sources indicated that Rollins would be made a priority, and that “obviously” at some point an offer would be made.
“Fightful has learned that Rollins’ in June of 2024, and as of a couple of weeks ago, there haven’t been discussions regarding a contract extension. As you can imagine by his placement on the card, Rollins is well-liked and respected within the company, and we’re told that there will “obviously” be an offer made at some point, with WWE sources even indicating that he’d be made a priority.
When asking a WWE official, we were told “we would not dispute that information” as it pertains to his contract being up next year, and that Rollins would be made a priority.”
