Frankie Kazarian returned to IMPACT Wrestling at Hard to Kill back in January of this year and revealed that he had just signed a new, long-term contract with the company. Frankie was previously under contract with AEW. Since then, Frankie has been near the top of the company, and just recently finished a very long and drawn out feud with Eddie Edwards.
Speaking with Darren Paltrowitz on the Paltrocast, Kazarian said that while he is so proud of what he’s accomplished in his career, he is not a run as World Champion.
“I’ve always said that if you don’t aspire to be a WorldCchampion, I don’t know why you’re doing this. I understand not everybody’s goals are the same. Yes, I’ve worked hard in my career, and I’ve achieved more than I ever thought possible, but I would be lying if I said I’m content because I’m not. I do want to be World Champion. I want to have my name in that history book alongside my friends and the greats and those that have carried that title. That, going into next year, is 100% my goal, to become TNA World Champion.” he said.

Kazarian is a former 5x TNA/IMPACT Wrestling X Division Champion, a former 3x TNA Tag Team Champion (2x w/Christopher Daniels, 1x w/Eric Young), former 2x King of the Mountain (2008, 2009).
As a true “TNA Original”, Frankie should be pretty excited about going back to their roots through the rebranding of the company.
Back in June of this year, Frankie celebrated his 20 yr anniversary since debuting with TNA Wrestling. Who knew that the company would be going back to those three historic initials in 2024?
During the UK Invasion tour, Frankie filled in for an injured Alex Shelley on three of these days of the tour, sometimes teaming with Chris Sabin and sometimes pulling double-duty with his own singles match as well.
Frankie has now made his goals heading into 2024 very clear.
