An independent wrestling talent recently featured in a WWE segment.
On Friday Night SmackDown last week, a weigh in segment between Logan Paul and Rey Mysterio aired.
In the segment, Rey would hit Logan with a mic after the pair weighed in for their match at WWE Crown Jewel, evoking fans to remember Dillon Danis launching a microphone at Paul prior to their boxing match.
Fans of independent wrestling would have noticed a familiar face in the background of this segment, as Fightful Select reports that an OVW name featured in the weigh in segment.
Indie wrestler and OVW talent Kal Herro was featured as a security guard in the weigh in segment.

Kal has been a consistent part of OVW television and has also featured in NWA this year as well as GLCW.
Logan would go on to defeat Mysterio at Crown Jewel, with the aid of brass knuckles, to become WWE United States Champion.
This is Logan’s first taste of WWE gold since signing with the company, and he has also remarked recently that he will be chasing down the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship.
