Cody Rhodes talks Jey Uso and what inning we are in for Roman Reigns’ WWE Undisputed Universal Championship reign.
Since WWE Payback, Cody Rhodes has found himself aligning with Jey Uso, with the pair even having a brief reign as WWE Undisputed Tag Team Champions. The pair have been consistently feuding with The Judgment Day on RAW, but Cody Rhodes has not forgotten about Roman Reigns.
Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Cody commented on his partnership with Jey Uso, noting that maybe he should ask Jey what inning he’s in.
“Jey has been a superb teammate. I need to ask him what inning we are in,”

Cody is referring to a recent comment from Paul Heyman, who noted that we were still in the early innings of Roman Reigns’ 1100+ WWE Universal Undisputed Championship reign.
Cody knocked off Damian Priest most recently at WWE Crown Jewel over the weekend, with Jey Uso evening the odds in the matchup when Judgment Day tried to interfere.
