Brogan Finlay has finished up with GCW.

Tonight’s GCW Si Or No event from Center Stage in Atlanta saw Tony Deppen defeat Finlay in singles action. After the match, Finlay announced that this was his final match for Game Changer Wrestling. He was then attacked by Jacob Fatu.

Fatu attacked Finlay and laid him out until officials put an end to the assault. Finlay was then helped to the back but he stopped to say goodbye to the crowd as they chanted “Thank you, Brogan!”

Bodyslam.net exclusively reported that Finlay was offered a WWE contract after participating in the September tryouts at the WWE Performance Center, and that he will officially report to work for WWE in January, along with Lucky Ali and Jay Malachi. It remains to be seen who else will report to the Performance Center in January.

Finlay has been finishing up on the indies while waiting to start with WWE. He appeared at the ACTION Pro Wrestling event on October 21st and announced that he had wrestled his last match for the promotion, adding that now is the time for him to begin the next chapter in his career.

Finlay is the son of the legendary Dave “Fit” Finlay, who works as Assistant Coach and trainer at the WWE Performance Center, and the younger brother to NJPW star David Finlay III.

Brogan, who turned 21 in August, began training in 2020 as a student of the WWA4 Pro Wrestling School in Atlanta, which is ran by AR Fox. He made his pro wrestling in-ring debut in early 2021, and then lost to WWA4 rival Bobby Flaco in his debut at ACTION’s third anniversary show on April 16 of that year. Brogan also worked two dates for NJPW Strong and one for Beyond Wrestling in 2021. Brogan continued working for NJPW Strong, GCW, IWTV and others in 2022, and this year he has worked several dates for GCW, JCW, and Black Label Pro, among others.
