Moments ago, and update was provided on the interest in the services of what will be the hottest free agent in years, Will Ospreay. Among these updates was one about TNA Wrestling’s interest in him.

According to Fightful Select,

“TNA and AEW both maintain interest in Ospreay, and have both said to have enjoyed working with him. We aren’t sure the natures of the deals being discussed, as NXT Europe, IMPACT becoming TNA and adjusting many elements of production and stepping up their European presence are all taking shape.”

Will Ospreay battled Mike Bailey at Bound For Glory on October 21st, and then proceeded to wrestle Josh Alexander the very next day at the Bound For Glory Fallout tv tapings – that match will air on November 16th. Ospreay also wrestled IMPACT/TNA Wrestling stalwart Eddie Edwards on October 27th as part of their UK Invasion Tour, which would be filmed for the Turning Point event. That show aired this last Friday night.

Ospreay previously expressed that IMPACT/TNA is in the running for his new home after February.

IMPACT President Scott D’Amore talked about how the door remains open for both Ospreay and CM Punk, as well as how he’s had conversations with Anthem executives about Ospreay and them being aware of who he is.

After his match with Mike Bailey, Ospreay praised the IMPACT locker room, and talked about the TNA rebrand as well.

Where will Will Ospreay end up upon his impending free agency? Nobody really knows that right now. Bodyslam will continue providing coverage of this developing situation.
