**Mentioned on commentary during the first match, Frankie Kazarian defeated Leon Slater and Joe Hendry defeated Rich Swann to get to the Finals in the Glasgow Cup tournament. **

-Joe Hendry vs Frankie Kazarian
Henry rolls Kazarian up and gains the pinfall.
Scott D’Amore comes out after to hand Hendry the cup.
My thoughts: damn good match. Kazarian has done some great stuff since returning to IMPACT full time back in January of this year, and this was no different. Of course the local talent was going to in win, and Hendry looked great as well.
Backstage, we get a hype video from the “Virtuous Pro Wrestling Gods”, Deonna Purrazzo, Moose, and Brian Myers.
Joe Hendry talks about his victory tonight for the Glasgow Cup, as well as his Turning Point opponent tomorrow night, Simon Miller.
-The Most Professional Wrestling Gods & Deonna Purrazzo vs Subculture
Moose, Myers, and Purrazzo wins when Moose nails Andrews with a SPEAR and then covers him for the victory.
My thoughts: give me this trio permanently. Moose, Myers, and Purrazzo worked great together. This was a very fun match, as Subculture looked great as well.
We go backstage to Josh Alexander and Eric Young who talk about their match tonight against the Motor City Machine Guns.
-Trey Miguel vs Grado
Grado nails Trey with a Big Boot to pick up the victory.
My thoughts: this match was decent. It felt like Trey carried it wrestling-wise, but Grado is usually a fun character to watch. Grado likely picked up the win due to being the hometown talent.
Eddie Edwards has words for Will Ospreay ahead of their match tomorrow night at Turning Point.
-Trinity vs Emersyn Jayne
Trinity wins.
My thoughts: Trinity’s opponent wasn’t announced ahead of time, but local UK talent Emersyn Jayne emerged from the back to wrestle the Knockouts World Champion. This was a non-title bout, but both women looked really good.
-Motor City Machine Guns vs Eric Young & Josh Alexander
The Machine Guns win when Sabin nails Eric Young with the CRADLE SHOCK and then drop kicks Josh away on the outside. Sabin pins Young for the victory.
My thoughts: phenomenal match with 4 impact/TNA veterans who tore the house down. I want to see more of Josh and EY tagging together and maybe even go after the tag titles at some point. Worked very well together and not the last time we’ll see them on this tour.
Overall show: great overall. Shelley got banged up in the main event and doesn’t end up working anymore of the UK shows, but he looked great in the match and hopefully it doesn’t sideline him for too long. Good knockouts action with Trinity and Emersyn, as well as the interactions between Deonna and Dani Luna. Some great pairings tonight that I hope we continue to see. Some production issues like too many camera shakes and cuts that were annoying, but the picture quality was really good and most of us knew there would be issues with production as they overhaul their studio.
