The match that IMPACT announced earlier today via their social media Twitter account is a tag team match, which will see the Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) take on The Most Professional Wrestling Gods (Moose & Brian Myers).
Alex Shelley is currently set to defend the IMPACT World Title when he takes on Josh Alexander on Saturday at Bound For Glory, and then whether he wins or loses at the PPV, he’s scheduled to take on Jonathan Gresham at the Bound For Glory Fallout TV Tapings on Sunday.
Chris Sabin defends his X Division Title against New Japan Pro Wrestling star KENTA at Bound For Glory this Saturday.
Moose won a World Title briefcase on 9/14 at night 1 of the IMPACT1000 celebration as part of a Feast or Fired match. He and Myers set to take on Rhino and PCO this week on the IMPACT broadcast, and then Moose also takes on Maclin, PCO, and Rhino in a Monsters Ball Match this Saturday at the Bound For Glory PPV.
Myers has not formally been announced for anything as of yet, but will likely be part of the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match at the event. The winner can cash in for a World Title shot anytime they choose over the next year.
Moments ago, IMPACT Wrestling’s primary International streaming partner – DAZN – took to their DAZN Wrestling social media Twitter account to break the news that one half of the current IMPACT Tag Team Champions, Trey Miguel, will be heading to the UK for the Invasion Tour as well.
