Whether It Happens At WWE Crown Jewel Or Not, LA Knight Sees Himself Becoming WWE Champion
LA Knight is confident in his abilities to become WWE Champion in the future.
Knight stepped up to Roman recently as John Cena introduced The Mega Star to the Tribal Chief. While he would hold his own on the microphone, Knight would receive a spear for his troubles.
Roman has been vocal that he sees Knight as a flash in the pan, a fad that won’t last forever. But with the YEAH! movement constantly gaining traction, Knight will look to dethrone the champion this Saturday at WWE Crown Jewel.
While he is not champion yet and is very much viewed as the underdog in this story, Knight does believe that one day he will become world champion in the promotion.
On this week’s edition of WWE’s The Bump, Knight was interviewed and he spoke about the confidence he feels about the possibility of him becoming WWE Champion in the future.
“If you get into this business, if you end up in the WWE, and your aim is not to be the top man, if your aim isn’t to be the WWE Champion, I don’t know what you’re doing here, personally. For me, that’s the only reason I got here. I didn’t come here to be a background player. I didn’t come here to be supporting cast. I came here to be the guy. I came here to be top dog, I came here to be the guy that runs the game. So when you consider that, yeah, a lot of people like to create vision boards and all that kind of crap. The vision board’s in my head, and I see myself wearing that WWE Championship over and over and over again. So whether it happens to be Crown Jewel or sometime down the road, you will see that, and you will call me champ,”

We will have to wait and see if Knight will be the one to end Roman’s over 1000 day run as champion or if he will have to wait a little longer until he becomes WWE Champion.
