Eddie Kingston On CM Punk: “I don’t wish him bad, but I don’t wish him good either, because I don’t give a f**k.”

Eddie Kingston comments on CM Punk.

At AEW All In, Punk was involved in yet another backstage altercation. However, this one would be different than those in the past in various ways. Namely, Punk not only fought with Jack Perry, he also reportedly lunged at AEW president Tony Khan while furiously quitting the company.

These events would leave Khan no other choice but to fire the Chicago native with cause, despite Punk’s drawing power and status as the companies “real world’s champion”. Punk has yet to comment on the matter.

Back at AEW Full Gear 2021, Eddie Kingston and CM Punk battled in singles action after a deeply personal feud where Kingston would cut vicious promos on Punk, letting him know how he truly felt about the Chicago native.

While speaking to Adrian Hernandez, Eddie Kingston discussed his relationship with Punk and how they were not the best of friends.

“No. I’m doing my job. That’s how I felt. I didn’t know what anyone else in the locker room felt, I didn’t care. It was how I felt. I didn’t want him there. Me and Punk don’t like each other. That’s fine. You’re not going to like everyone you work with. Do I wish he was still in AEW and I wish it worked out differently? Yeah, because he helped the company. Other than that, I don’t give a fuck what he does. Me and him never got along anyway. We don’t have to be best friends to fight each other. It makes it better when we’re not best friends. I don’t wish him bad, but I don’t wish him good either, because I don’t give a fuck. That’s it.”

Kingston is currently Ring Of Honor World Heavyweight Champion, while Punk continues to be a major free agent on the wrestling scene following his AEW firing.
