Will Ospreay: I Decided To Throw Meaty Elbows, And It Seems To Be Way Better Then When I was Doing All The “Flippy-Do’s”
While on the IMPACT Wrestling Press Pass, I got a question in regarding Will’s wrestling style.
Seeing you on here all the time, you’re on of the best in the world. When you get to the point where you can’t wrestle anymore, are you going to consider retirement or toning down the style?
Ospreay – “Uh, I don’t know. I’ve thought about getting into make stripping when I’m done with wrestling, but we’ll see. I guess that’s not on the table anymore cus wrestling has already done so much damage to my hips. No, I really gotta think about it. Maybe I’ll be a postman, that’s quite a nice job.
No, but every time I feel like I can’t do the style that everybody is talking about kind of like that Ricochet Vs Will Ospreay [New Japan Pro Wrestling] Super Jrs 2016, I can’t do that stuff anymore. I’m fat now, so I decided to throw meaty elbows instead and it seems to be way better then when I was doing all the flippy-do’s that I like. So the takeaway to this question is: mail stripper, postman, I can’t do flips that good anymore, but I can punch people in the face.”
Will Ospreay is scheduled to take on Mike Bailey at the IMPACT Bound For Glory PPV this Saturday, and then he will compete against Josh Alexander the next day at the Bound for Glory Fallout television tapings this Sunday, October 22nd.
Ospreay then joins IMPACT on their UK Invasion Tour to take on Eddie Edwards on Friday October 27th to film the Turning Point event, which will air on November 3rd.
