Eric Bischoff Believes WWE’s Handling Of Jade Cargill And Cody Rhodes Sends A Message To Talent Like MJF

Eric Bischoff believes WWE have sent a message to the top stars of All Elite Wrestling.

Last month it was announced that Cargill had signed for the promotion and Triple H welcomed her to the company in another social media post.

Cargill has signed a multi year deal with the company, but it is unknown what brand she will start on when she makes her in ring debut.

Meanwhile, when Cody Rhodes signed with WWE, his return to the company was treated as a huge deal.

Eric Bischoff, on the latest episode of his 83 Weeks podcast, noted that he believes WWE’s treatment of the two jumps from AEW is meant to send a message to talent like MJF.

“The subtle message, whether it’s intentional or not, is: ‘Going to WWE is a step up. Going to AEW is a step down.’ It just is what it is,” Bischoff said. “First of all, who does that message land on the most? Who is most affected by that message in AEW? Guys like MJF. Not everybody that’s in AEW has the potential of ever seeing me inside of a WWE arena unless they buy a ticket to go watch.”

In a recent interview, Cargill addressed the possibility of main eventing WrestleMania with Bianca Belair in the future.

It has been reported that Jade is not making her way to WWE for financial reasons.

That being said, it has also been reported that Cargill will be on more money than usual for newcomers and will be given a focal push upon making her WWE debut.

Becky Lynch also commented on Cargill’s recent signing.
