Matt Riddle may be set for a fight with Jake Paul.
Earlier this month, Matt Riddle was travelling back from Superstar Spectacle from India and had been drinking. He would end up in an incident involving officers at the airport, and he would accuse one officer of sexual assault.
The incident was one of great controversy, as Riddle had only just completed a stint in rehab earlier this year.
Riddle would later be released from WWE amongst several other releases from the company.
Now, it looks like he has a plan for after his time in WWE. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter now reports that Riddle is in preliminary talks to possibly fight Jake Paul.
There were at least talks that were expected to take place this week regarding Jake Paul vs. Matt Riddle. At best, the talk right now should be categorized as very preliminary.
