Kevin Sullivan Comments On Adam Copeland’s AEW Debut

Kevin Sullivan, speaking on his podcast, Taskmaster Talks with Kevin Sullivan, discussed with co-host Paul Bromwell about the appearance of Adam Copeland in his debut at AEW WrestleDream on October 1, praising the Canadian talent:

I mean, he still looks in incredible shape. To me, maybe I’m turning into a dinosaur, but I like to see guys but look like they’re not the guys that do my lawn.

You think if he wrestles Bryan Danielson people are going to say, while they’re doing this incredible match, ‘Oh, they’re 59 years old,’ Danielson is a little younger than that. That ain’t going to come up because they’re not going to be sitting in their seat. They’re going to be standing, jumping around like fools, like the rest of us,”

Before becoming Edge for WWE in 1998, Adam Copeland once filled the roles of Adam Impact, Sexton Hardcastle, and in WCW, Damon Striker. During this rare appearance on WWF’s 90’s competitor, Copeland took on The Taskmaster, Kevin Sullivan on a 1996 episode of WCW Pro.
