Adam Cole Says He Will Require Two Surgeries On His Ankle

During the main event of AEW Dynamite Grand Slam, Adam Cole would sprint to ringside to back up MJF. However, disaster struck when Cole would land awkwardly on his foot.

Many fans have been worried since, and now we know more as Adam Cole revealed all on last week’s show, explaining that his ankle had “exploded.”

Adam Cole recently took to Twitch to stream with TheCHUGS Arm and explained that he will require two surgeries for the ankle injury.

“My ankle is broken. When it’s all said and done, When I’m eventually able to get everything all fixed, I’m going to need to get two surgeries, and it will be a total of eight screws and a plate in my ankle. So, not ideal. It’s incredibly painful. It’s the most painful injury I’ve ever had. Speaking to doctors, [it was] just an absolute freak type of thing. No idea how it happened, I’m doing my best to stay as positive as I can. Obviously, this is soul-crushing. it’s really, really a bummer. If anything, it’s more painful mentally and physically, it really really hurts as well. “

There is still no timetable for when we are expected to see Adam Cole back in an AEW ring.

Cole’s brochacho MJF is currently set to face Switchblade Jay White for the AEW World Title at Full Gear.
