Dvon Dudley stepped back into the ring to compete this past weekend.

In a post on Instagram, Dudley thanked Bully Ray, Tommy Dreamer, Scott D’Amore, and the IMPACT locker room for welcoming him back. Dudley also went on to hype the locker room for the respect they showed and how genuine they were.

Here’s what the post read:

“Being back in the ring again after 7 years for the 1000 episode of TNA was truly amazing. I would to thank Bubba, Tommy Dreamer, Scott F. D’Amore and the whole impact locker, for welcome me back with open arms. Everybody in the locker room was truly respectful very genuine for my come back. I’ve said it before that this would be it, but you never know lol. Here is some video of what transpired last night . i’m a little sore, but to be expected training and off thank you fans to my family and all my friends support over the 32 year career. ……OH MY BROTHER TESTIFY!!!”

Dudley teamed up with his longtime friend and partner Bully Ray at IMPACT1000. This was the first time in 7 years (2016) that they’d competed together, and the first time in 9 years (2014) that they’d teamed inside of an IMPACT Wrestling ring.

On Tueaday, IMPACT announced that there will be two nights for IMPACT1000 to air, and that their Team 3D match would be airing on night 1, this Thursday.

Yesterday, Bully and DVon released a video message hyping the match.
